Eating healthy requires you to look for certain labels to make sure the product you are purchasing to consume meets certain standards.  Yes, most of these items might be slightly higher in price, but your health will thank you. Below are some labels to consider:

This is the gold standard for organic products. By law any food products with this label must contain at least 95% organic ingredients...

Labeling means from seed to shelf food with this label meets rigorous standards that avoid GMO...

This label means that products are grown with the same standards as organic products, but they are not grown on farms certified by the National Organic Program of the USDA...

This certified label means animals are fed only grass and are able to forage during growing season...

This certified label means that animals are to behave naturally and are in a state of well being. In other words they are not in a cage all day...

Certified label that indicates fish come from a fishery that practices sustainable and environmental integrity...

Certified label that means Workers must receive fair wages, they also must have safe and equitable working conditions...
